The fees were raised to $120 person per season to cover projected costs and to recover from last years loss.<\/p>\n<p><u>Expenditures:<\/u><br \/>\nCourt Hire $7,411\u00a0 (last year $6,363)<br \/>\nAdmin $594 \u00a0(last year $557)<br \/>\nRefreshments $450 \u00a0\u00a0(last year $570)<br \/>\nCards and Gifts $100 \u00a0(last year $155)<br \/>\nTrophies $536 (last year $566)<br \/>\nRegistration &amp; Insurance Badminton Victoria\u00a0 $875<br \/>\nExpenditure on Shuttles of $1,900 (last year $2,788)<\/p>\n<p><u>Funds in Bank:<\/u><br \/>\nAt the end of year the balance was $6,124.<br \/>\nFunds in the bank at the start of the year was $5,600<\/p>\n<p><u>Fundraising: <\/u><br \/>\nThe fundraising event was once again very successful with $1,313 raised and donated to the Anti Cancer Council of Victoria.<\/p>\n<p>We are hopeful that we can keep the match fees at the same as last year. $120 per season.<br \/>\nThis will of course depend on the number of people we have playing.<\/p>\n<p>Full details of our financials and comparison with previous years are available from the Secretary or can be seen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tlba.com.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/2018-2019-Comparison.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<pre>Note: Acrobat Reader is required to view file.<\/pre>\n<p>Dianne Forster<br \/>\nTreasurer<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Treasurer\u2019s Report For October 2018- September 2019 This year the Club made a profit of $523.
