Jamboree 2016

Our team was entered in the C3 group and won only one match out of five, narrowly losing another 4/3. The winner of our section was Geraldton, who far outclassed the other teams.

The 2017 Jamboree will be held in Melbourne at MSAC from 15th to 21st of October and will be organised by Eastern Ladies Association. They welcome our ideas and support.

So start working on getting some more teams from our association together for 2017.

Winners and Grinners

About 30 TLBA girls went to the new Boardman Badminton Stadium in Sunbury on Thursday 8th August to participate in the annual round robin tournament organised by Sunbury Ladies’ Badminton Association. Several clubs took part, about 90 players in all. 10 TLBA players won either 1st or 2nd on their court, an excellent result. The tournament was followed by a delicious lunch catered for by the Sunbury ladies. If you didn’t go this year, make sure you go next year as it’s a fun day!

Autumn Season 2013 dates

Welcome back to all our players for 2013!

The Autumn season will begin on Thursday the 7th of February 2013.
Both sections can now find your teams and fixture up on the Fixture page of the website.

We will also be having a hit-up on the Thursday the 31st of January. Section 1 between 10am and noon, and Section 2 between noon and 2pm. Hope to see you all there :)

Visit from Dee Ryall, MP for Mitcham

Dee Ryall, MP for Mitcham, will be visiting TLBA next Thursday, 9th August at 11am. It will be an opportunity to showcase our club and the local press have been invited to attend. We will offer morning tea to Dee and maybe give her a chance to try out her skills on the badminton court! We would ask section 1 players to be patient if play is held up a little and section 2 players are invited to come a little early if they want to  be present for her visit.
